Coming Soon.... A New Look.

You may be here because you have heard about the up and coming magazine Running Hoosier. I may have e-mailed you and you followed this link, you may have followed a link from FaceBook, or Twitter.

Now that you are here and looking around you think, this does not look like a site for a magazine. Well, you are right, it does not look like that at all.

But soon, Running Hoosier .com will have a new look. As the graphic design team progresses with the graphics for the magazine, we will be incorporating the look here as well.

So be patient with us as we get things together.
I appreciate all the feedback that I have gotten already form a bunch of you.

I really appreciate the team, the graphic design team and the writers, WOW, you guys (and girls) are all so amazing. When this dream of mine went from my head to my mouth to my fingers on the keyboard and into your ears I never expected the enthusiasm and support I have seen from you.

Thank you all so much. And to you, the potential reader/subscriber Running Hoosier, I want to thank you as well. My goal with Running Hoosier is to make you feel and be a part of it.

So stay tuned and check back frequently as all this takes shape.

'The Project' Revealed

Sometime ago I mentioned that I was working on a project. I even mentioned different aspects of the process, such as the face to faces I was having with graphic designers.

First I want to say that the graphic design team is only part of the overall setup of the team.
To make the team complete takes two aspects to make it whole. You may be surprised to find out that YOU are a vital part of the team as well, but more on that in a minute.

The second part of the team is equally important. They are the writers. Skilled writers at that. You say, writers? What are they going to write?

I am so glad you asked, for now it is time to open the can and let you look in.

'The Project' will now be called and referred to by the proper name.

Running Hoosier Magazine

The magazine will cover topics such as training, nutrition, health, local runners, interviews, and much much more. So whether you are thinking of running, new to running, have run some races, or have run for years, this will be for you.

We are looking for a September release.

If you would like a subscription please email me with your mailing address and we will get it out to you in September.

So stay tuned in while the magazine begins to take even more shape. I am so excited to be able to tell you this and in September be able to show you the finished project.

If you have a passion for running, health, nutrition,or have something that you feel may be of value to the running community and can write, feel free to contact me. We are always looking for good writers with interesting articles.

The 'Project'

In my last post I mentioned that I was working on something very exciting. I said that I was having a hard time keeping it to myself. Well....., What? You Thought I was ready to spill the beans? No way. I will tell you this much, for now, it is called, 'The Project' (not the real name).

I will tell you though that I have had a great response for my call out for graphic designers. I am in the process now of scheduling face to face meetings for next week. I also am getting other key players lined up as well.

So, the ball is rolling.
The team is getting closer to being in place.
So, stay tuned for more exciting announcements.
